🎄Hello and thanks for checking out my recipe book!🎅 I’m Susie, and I design the cookie press disks you see in this recipe blog. Impress Bakeware is my family’s small business in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado. This book was a labor of love. Life twists and turns made the writing process take more than a year, and the final push to get it out in time for the Holidays in 2023 was way too many 14 hour days! But, for those of you who have said, “I’d love to have your recipes in print!”, here you go!🥳

Everyone from complete beginners to experienced cookie pressing masters can use this book. It’s a 97 page comprehensive tutorial covering everything I know about making spritz cookies, as well as a compilation of the “best-of” recipes from this blog. In the first section of the book I cover making spritz dough, using a press, troubleshooting both dough and press issues, as well as decorating! I explain coloring the dough, how to decorate with icing, and both dry brushing and wet painting with luster dust- with lots of examples and photos. Sandwich cookies are covered, too.

The bulk of the book is 2 page tutorials of the most popular recipes from the blog, with straightforward ingredient lists and step-by step instructions. Plus 2 new recipes that I just posted recently! Butter Mint Snowflake Spritz Cookies and Dinosaurs & Fossils Peanut Butter & Chocolate Spritz.❄️🦕

The book is self-published. We are a small company, not a big bakeware empire! I wanted it to be as user-friendly as possible, and I did my best to keep the cost down without sacrificing quality. I kept the price point as low as we could afford. I very intentionally made it a spiral-bound book that lays FLAT on the kitchen counter! The front and back have clear plastic covers to keep the book clean while you bake. The paper is heavy and glossy to withstand all your spritz cookie adventures, which I hope will be many.

The book is 97 pages, 8″ x 8″ to fit nicely on the kitchen counter, and we’re selling it for $19.95. Please note it is excluded from our “Countdown to Christmas Sale”. Like I said, small company, self-published. No wiggle room for sale prices. I’m hoping it is worth every scrumptious cookie you make!

🥰This company, these recipes, these disks, this whole crazy family small business thing means the world to me. I LOVE making spritz cookies and sharing them with the world. After a decade of doing this I still have ideas popping into my head all the time, so I know there will be many more recipes and disk shapes to come. It’s been heartwarming hearing how much you all love them. It is so touching to hear from people that our disks and recipes have become part of their traditions. I’m glad so many of you are enjoying some me time or family time baking with your sweeties, buddies, kids, and grandkids. It’s been a thrill to expand spritz cookies into new realms, and to take you all on the journey with me.
